It's here! Look what I got in the mail this past weekend! Yes, I joined the Sketchbook Project! After discovering the Sketchbook Project last year (and being too late to sign up for it.) I promised myself that I would sign up for it, for sure the next year. What's even more awesome is that, one of the new locations for the 2012 tour is Toronto! The hardest part will be starting the first drawing. I might end up starting in the middle of the sketchbook just because the first page is so scary.
P.S. If you're interested you can still sign up for it and get your own sketchbook. The last sign up date is oct 31st.
Here is a sketch for the upcoming Toronto Zombie Walk 2011. I went last year and it was a blasty-blast. I made a flyer for last year too but I think I submitted it too close to the actual zombie walk. Anyways, hopefully I get this one done in a few weeks.
Some of you may have noticed that I added a little gif on the right of some pillows.... hope you guys like pillows. (I know I do!) Yes, I now have an Envelop shop! My shop is still pretty new but check out some of my pillows...
You can check out my shop, if you want to see more. I hope to buy one of these some time soon for myself, just to see what they look like in person. Which one(s) are your favourite?
I've wanted to do a giveaway for some time now. I kept forgetting/got side-tracked. I even had a few good reasons too like; reaching my 100th follower and my 200th post. Anyways, I thought now would be a good time. In some small way, I want to thank all my followers for all the nice comments I've gotten over the past 2 (almost 3) years. I know this is a small giveaway, but you gotta start somewhere, right? And since I don't have that many followers, theres an even bigger chance of YOU winning! Expect a slow rise in the frequency of giveaways on this blog. :] So for this giveaway I plan on giving away not one but SIX STICKERS (of your choice) from my Redbubble store! (They're pretty big too, perfect for your sketchbook! Check out some pictures of the ones on my sketchbook here)
Howtoenter? You must be a follower of this blog! Visit my Redbubble sticker page, then come back, leave a comment telling me which is your favourite design. (Or your fave 6 designs!) Make sure there is a way to contact you if you win!
Additionalentries? (Please leave a separate comment for each entry with a link or it won't be counted!) Tell people about the giveaway on your Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, and/or on your own blog. Like 'weirdklown' on Facebook Follow me on Tumblr.
This giveaway is open to everyone, I will announce the winner on September 23rd. The winner will be contacted by email.
The second part of my family's black and white photos. This time It'll be from my Dad's side. If you haven't already, check out part one and three.
This is a photo of my Grandparents (from my Dad's side) on their wedding day. I love my Grandma's dress and my Grandpa looks so handsome! These are slightly more recent photos of them. Possibly their old passport photos? Though they don't look this young anymore. My Grandpa pretty much looks the same minus a new hair style.(Theres a bit of pen or marker on my Granpa's photo!?) These happy people are my Great Grandparents. (Grandpa's parents.) My Great Grandma looks so pretty! My Grandma and her boys. She sent this photo out to my Grandpa when he was working in the states to make some extra cash. My dad is the one on the left. (I was born 7 years later!) Here is a photo of my Grandparents at a party, probably work related. (They're the two on the left.) These are my other Great Grandparents and my Grandma in the middle. (Grandma's parents) Why didn't people like to smile in photos back then? My Grandma, possibly at a school event? My Grandpa came to Greece for my birth. (Yes, thats me!) He looks a lot like my Dad here. I had to make this photo that last one. My Grandpa was a good lookin' man but this photo makes me laugh everytime I see it. Doesn't he look like Pee Wee Herman here!?
So, I went for a walk with a friend a while back. (Last weekend) These are some of the shots I took. There were snails everywhere! I wanted to take some pictures of spider webs but this is all I found. This was the only mushroom I found. :[ Pretty details. We saw a rabbit too!
