Last week I visited the new Ripley's Aquarium of Canada for the first time. I took a ton of photos but I'm just going to show you my favourites. The highlights for me were the Shark tunnel and the Jellyfish. This isn't my first time visit an Aquarium, but it was my first time not using flash on my camera. It was a lot harder to do, especially when some of the tanks were super dark. But the colours are better.
Do you see the little fish? He looks so upset, lol.
In the Shark tunnel tank. So awesome to see the sharks crossing paths.

It's here. It's been almost 5 months since the trip... but It's finally here. The Tobermory video! I finally had some extra time to sit down and editing/put together all the mini videos I took while in Tobermory. Oh, what fun. I kind of missed editing videos. I hope I remember to take some videos next time I go somewhere fun. And also remember to edit the videos right away instead of waiting so long.
Check out all the photos from the trip here.
P.S. Don't you just love the music? :D

If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen this picture. If not, surprise! I made some new hair bows. And these ones are special because they are hand stamped.
I carved the stamp myself. Stamped the fabric myself and then sewed the fabric into a hair bow.
I love how they turned out. At first I didn't like the little black marks (from not carving the stamp deep enough) but I think gives it an interesting look.
I ended up just hand painting the red lines in. This way every eyeball is a little different.
I might put up a few of these in my shop. (Should I?) I'm so excited to make more stamps and hair bows. I have so many ideas!

The shop has been open now for almost 2 months. I'm learning so much! I'm also kicking myself for not opening the shop sooner. I have just over 50 items listed. (Yay!) And I'm also now accepting Direct Checkout and Etsy Gift Cards!
Anyways I thought now would be a good time to do a little update...
I made a bunch of brooches last year (I think?) and I listed a few of those.
Another thing that I'm pretty excited about is that I started listing some colouring pages! I have a lot of sketches and doodles that never get finished. Or I just lose interested in finishing them. Over time I'll be adding these printable pages (instant downloads) in my shop. The great thing about these is that once you purchase one, you get to print it as many times as you want. Colouring pages for everyone! I hope these do well, I'd love to see people's finished pages.
The last thing I wanted to mention is that I added two print sets. The Nerd and Geek girls and the Skull couple and kids. (You can see them in the first picture at the top). I know I've had people ask me in the past about selling them together because they are a theme. (And they kind of go together) Anyways there is only 1 print set available for each as of now. I won't be able to get more prints made for a few weeks.

I had another roll developed and it ended being mostly very under exposed shots. When will I learn that the juice box camera is best used outside! Anyways, here are a few of the good ones.
On one of my walks with the dog.
A sun rise. I try to watch at least one sun rise every summer.
I don't know why, I just like this picture. Yes it is very dark but the burn, plus Justin and the row of our DVDs... just awesome.
One of Tania's visits from last year (or maybe the year before?) Looks like we're on a bus. Maybe we're heading to the mall or the zoo.

Yesterday I ended up visiting the new Ripley's Aquarium of Canada. I took a bunch of pictures and I can't wait to go through them all and show you my favourites. This is my first time visiting an aquarium and not using flash for my pictures. So I'm expecting to have a lot of grainy and dark photos. But from what I've seen already (looking through them via my camera) they don't look too bad.
I couldn't help but make this GIF right away though.

That is right! These are Halloween photos from last year. Yes, sometimes it takes me a while to get some film developed. Anyways here are a few photos from last years Halloween parties and what not...
Last year we went as Joker and Robin.
Our friend as a skunk.
This photo made me laugh because I took very similar pictures this Halloween of Captain, wearing the same Halloween themed collar. You can see the pictures I took here and here.
And a shot of our kitchen window, this would have been a boring shot but the burn makes it awesome!
I can't wait to get a few more roll developed.

So it's been over a week since the Toronto Zombie Walk happened. I've searched through the Toronto Zombie Walk Facebook Page and Flickr and found a few pictures of myself taken by a few photographers (and just people at the walk.) Yay! Here's a similar post from last year.
I must say I have twice as many photos this year and I'm pretty happy about that. :]
This was the first photo I found of myself. I love how I'm smiling... I should be making a 'zombie' face but my reaction to seeing a camera is to smile. haha.
Here is a not-so-great-picture of me walking in the background. If only the picture showed a little more, my friend was right beside me! But that girl with the spiders on her face looked awesome.
Another close up face shot. I look a little bored here, but I swear I wasn't!
This one's a video capture. You can see me and my friend walking at 11:10. Not too exciting for you, we're just walking... but there we are!!
And this one was from the Sugar Spot. They had a booth there this year. They sell cupcakes. I was a cupcake. So why not!
P.S. Check out past Zombie Walk posts here.
